It's been a year since this little guy, Jonah Rockwell, came into our lives.
This is just a little recap of his birthday last week.
It was a gorgeous sunny and warm Fall day with lots of activity.
We went to our homeschool co-op group in the morning. These lovely little ladies stick together. I taught the last week of my section. We played Geography Jeopardy. The big kids and the boys their age were into it; these girls were more worried about who was sitting next to who.
We came home with 4 extra kids to play. Zoe had Allie...
Jiles had Noah, his friend and mirror twin in tooth loss.
Kate and Ezra had Megan, Madison and Max. They found some chicks down by the creek that were just hatched. Weston found one cold broken-open egg and gave it Kate, Madison and Megan to see if they could save it. I am happy to say that it is thriving in our school room.
Weston and Justin took out the front fence to smooth out the hill in the yard. :)
Oliver and Jonah had each other, with the trike and grass and dirt.
Dude, give me a smile! It's your birthday!
He'd much rather study how the chain works on the trike.
Bulldozer and backhoe done, we get to play in the dirt.
So serious.
Jonah did some walking practice. Getting better!
And Oliver climbed the century tree and asked to talk to "Mammy" (Grammie) because that is what he did the last time he was up there.
Brit, our Pyrenees, also had 7 puppies under the barn on Jonah's birthday. (I still haven't seen them.) 7 pups and like 9 chicks born on his 1st birthday. Pretty cool. We didn't have a party for him that night because Weston took all the friends home and ended up staying down and talking, so we had a little party the next night before Ezra's pack meeting.
He pretty much loved his homemade chocolate cake.
Happy Birthday to Jonah boy!!!!
(Zoe gave him her old hippo on wheels for his birthday. So sweet.)
