May 2017 Family Pictures

While we got our extended family picture during the family reunion, we got our "little" family picture done at the same time. Jiles had done something to his nose, and Oliver had a fever and was in no mood to get his picture taken. Even so, Megan did a great job, as always!

Spencer - age 14

Katelyn - age 12

Ezra - age 10

Jiles - age 8 (great job getting that scab off the bridge of his nose, Megan!)

Zoe - age 5

Oliver - age 3 - with a fever

Jonah - age 1 1/2

I love my peeps!

Spring Track

Spencer and Katelyn did Spring track at the middle school (at the same time as Spring soccer through the rec district). Neither of them had done it before. I think they enjoyed it. Katelyn did sprints and hurdles, and Spencer did hurdles and high jump and discus.

They were fun to watch. The track meets are soooo long (4 hours) and cold. I had never been to a track meet before.

Spring Soccer '17

It was a fun soccer season. Spencer, Katelyn and Ezra were all on the same team with a bunch of friends. Zoe was on a team, too. Jiles's leg was not ready to play yet.

(Silly Spencer!)

At the beginning of every season, we break out the soccer bin with all the cleats, socks and shinguards.

My friend JaNae and her son Justin coached Zoe's team with her son William, and Brody, Sabra, and another girl.

This was Zoe's first season and she did great. But really, she'd much rather of been doing this the whole time (this was when she was supposed to be practicing one day):

Shoes and socks and shinguards and sidelines are just all too restrictive for this free spirit.

Spencer was the goalie and did awesomely! I obviously didn't get any good (in focus) pictures of him. Wish I had tried more! I got some of Katelyn and Ezra though.

Ezra and his buddies

Jonah trains on the sidelines.

At practice these 3 play hard on the playground while the big kids finish up, since their practice is twice as long as Zoe's.

Soccer wears us all out.

After the last game there was a soccer party at Coach Tamara's for the big kids.
