"You haven't seen a tree until you've seen its shadow from the sky."
-Amelia Earhart, pilot
(Don't you think that it would cooler if her last name was spelled "Airheart" instead?)
"If you can't fly, then you might as well try swinging. It's probably almost as fun. Maybe."
-Carrie, me
We've been enjoying some not-as-cold weather this week. Looking at Ezra (who is sporting his 'space traveler' jammies - he will wear little else) in some of these pictures, one would think that it was warm. It's not - I can assure you of that. But it has been sunny. On Thursday there was even a warm breeze. I just laid on my back, soaking it up, while taking pictures of the kids soaring above me - a practice that has made tops on my "favorite things to do outside when it's warm-ish and the sky is blue" list.

After we swung, swang, and swinged (flew) to our little hearts' content, we ventured 'round, finding helicopters to drop (those maple leaves that spin like 'copters), found snowballs to eat, and fences to launch ourselves off of. It was a right NICE afternoon.
