Last night we had "Spencer's Special" for the 2nd time. The first time we made it, like a month ago, he had come home from helping Weston in the mountains with a hand full of green onions he found growing up there. He was so excited to use them in cooking. I hadn't really picked anything for dinner that night yet and he really wanted to cook so I let him pick what to put in the dinner and I helped him chop and prepare. It turned out super yummy, a hit with everyone. Spencer loves cooking and watching food network.

"Spencer's Special"
created by Spencer
-chop up 2 peeled carrots, 2 stalks celery, 1 green pepper and 4 green onions
-saute in little bit of butter, about a tbsp of olive oil and a couple cups of water
-add 5 or 6 bite sized pieces of smoked sausages
-add 2 cups cooked rice
-a few splashes of soy sauce
-2 child hand fulls of raisins
Mix together, serve warm and enjoy (hopefully).

That is so awesome. He's going to be a chef by the time he's 10 and you will all eat like royalty.
AWESOME SPENCER! Olivia had a "little chef" party for her birthday. She loves to cook too. We will have to let them create next time we are together! Awesome blog by the way...you inspired me to finally crack down and do it! You are always so creative Carrie! Thanks...Jamee
