Feeding With Dad

Spencer has been helping Weston feed the cows.  He's the gate-getter, twine-puller (except in some of these pictures because he was talking to me while Weston was taking off the twine), and whatever else Weston needs him to be.  (This was last week when it was still around 0 degrees.  It's in the low 30's/upper 20's now.)

A few days before Christmas, Weston and Spencer had fed the cows in the shape of the letters J, O, and Y for fun.  They wanted me to come over the next day and take pictures from up on the hill.  It was rainy/snowy-ish and foggy that morning.

Plain shredded wheat, or frosted?  That is, snow or no snow?

Working on the "J".

 Curve it.

Spencer's drone that he got for his birthday would've been great to have to take a picture from above, but it was still stuck in a tree next to our house.

My companions:

"O":

And "Y":

Altogether it spells JOY.  But hard to see from this angle.  This is where that drone stuck in the tree would come in handy.

Hay spinning off of the hay spinner:

"Nom nom."
