My sister Julie, her husband Drew and their 5 kids came for a visit a couple of weeks ago.  I loved having them here!  And so did the rest of my family.  Jiles and Zoe and cousin Karie hit it off, as seen in this sweet game of Ring Around the Rosey:

Kate and Owen really hit if off this time.  It is so funny to see the different cousins through the years, and who they connect with.  It is not always ones of the same age or gender, as you would sometimes think.

This was a week after my birthday, and I didn't have a cake for my birthday, so Julie made one complete the my favorite choc/pb/mint frosting.  Thanks, Jules!  Owen's birthday was earlier that week, so we shared in the spotlight fun.

Saturday morning, the day they headed for home, was a beautiful morning that was perfect for a little campfire.

She's so pretty (and so is the hat).

In the ditch a little ways off is a never ending supply of trash it seems like.  The kids have found so much colored glass, and other glass, and what not.  It was obviously a previous owner's personal dumping ground.  This day Spencer found a Colombian coffee can, which made us think of Grandma and Grandpa (because they live in Colombia, not because of the coffee - they don't drink it).
