Well, the other Kindergarten boy is no longer going to be with Spencer in Kindergarten. He was travelling from a neighboring town, which has it's own elementary school, because his parents like our school better. But, with gas prices the way they are, they have decided that 5 hours a week of just driving their Kindergartener to school in their fuel-sucking van was too expensive. He will come next year for first grade when he can take the bus both to and from school.
So, the K class teacher-to-child ratio is the best it can be: 1-to-1. What more can we ask for, except for a friend and classmate for Spencer? Of his 2 hours and 45 minutes of daily school time, he gets 1 hour of one-on-one time with Mrs. Norma the K teacher, 1/2 hour at the beginning and 1/2 hour at the end. The rest of the time he is interacting with the rest of the school kids, all 14 of them. He has nothing to complain about, nor do we, and doesn't know any different anyway. He loves school and can't tolerate the weekends because he doesn't get to go. We'll see how long that'll last.

WOW! At least your kid gets alot of one-on-one time with the teacher. How does he react to all the attention?
