Probably - no, definitely - the most exciting thing about February was getting a new van. With 9 of us - including 2 carseats and 2 booster seats, we were squished in our 9 seater suburban. Not only that, but it was not so reliable anymore. Kids had to climb over each other to get in and out of the back seat, which also meant mud on the seat where someone had to sit. We had rented a 12-seater Ford Transit when we went to California, and totally loved it. So Weston and I said, okay, if we are going to get one, now is the time. When all 9 of us are in the van, we have 3 seats to spare. I am happy to say that our family is still growing, and that space is needed. And I LOVE that I don't feel like I might break down any second on my 100-mile round trips to town (much of it being out of cell service).
So only Valentine's Day (it just so happened to be the day that we picked it up - we bought it from an airport shuttle service), Weston said he had something in his pocket for us, and he would be right back. We waited in the family room while he ran up to Grandma and Grandpa's driveway to get it. When he honked the kids got so excited and ran to windows and out the front door. It was pretty exciting. We had never had a new vehicle before, and something this nice, and big, was pretty awesome. We piled in for a test drive, Weston put it in reverse and it slid on the ice and didn't move...hahaha...nice first test drive. We did get it to go after a minute, and it was fun.
We named it the Great White. Because it is huge, and white.
I LOVE IT!
So, let's go to town!!!!!

And try on hats (while I look at wallets) at Target,
and of course, we have doctor's visits to check on the healing of Jiles's leg.
watching the X-ray:
grabbing Smashburger afterward (which probably won't do again for a looooong time cuz it was expensive, albeit yummy):
hanging out at a new-to-us library:
Zoe is drawn to all of the pink and purple books, and therefore discovered Fancy Nancy:
Different day, same month, same van driven, we took our oldest 2 to the Boise Temple (let's enjoy the stained-glass since we can't see our faces here....hahaha),
and then to Outback Steakhouse for dinner afterward. It was SOOOOO great just having fun with these 2. We need to do that more often.
